Horizon is partnering with Arise Wi-Fi as our primary provider for managed Wi-Fi service at student and new development communities across our portfolio. This partnership has elevated our Internet offering, as Arise provides unlimited bandwidth, free support, free installation, and the latest in Wi-Fi technology.
Arise provides end-to-end support and uses the highest quality access points available in today’s market, Juniper Mist AI. Apartments are equipped with artificially intelligent Mist AP-32 and AP-12 access points, which are easily managed and have a failure rate of less than 1%.
90% of Horizon’s student portfolio has been converted to Arise Wi-Fi, and the remainder of the portfolio will be converted by 2024. The superior Internet service we’re able to offer through our partnership with Arise has led to better reviews and higher resident retention rates.
Arise has recently advanced its offering beyond student housing communities, and Horizon’s development team and Arise engineers are working to deploy managed Internet service across our new development portfolio. This innovative approach to managed Internet service provides a seamless experience for new residents, who can now instantly connect to their apartment Internet at move-in. Residents can also conveniently access billing and support through their on-site team or Arise’s 24-hour support.
